Hibiscus House

Bed and Breakfast, Gozo

Hibiscus bed & breakfast on Gozo is a friendly, family run original Gozitan farmhouse, dating back some three hundred years.
Offering quality accommodation at affordable prices, Lois and Ian welcome you to one of the few remaining original farmhouses on the island.
Situated on the south side of the island in the village of Sannat the property retains many of its original features: pretty courtyards, vaulted rooms, arched walkways and stone stair cases.
Sannat village offers friendly local shops and bars, restaurants and pizzerias. The local bank, and a stunning church flanked with oleander trees, are within easy walking distance from the house.
The new Arriva bus service, with a stop fifty metres away gives easy access to all the island’s attractions and destinations.
Nearby are the magnificent cliffs at Ta Cenc with breathtaking views over the island and across the channel to Malta and Comino. Hotel Ta Cenc, and spa, boasting a range of treatments is only a five minute walk and is a relaxing way to pamper yourself, membership for this can be purchased on a daily basis.
Your hosts Ian and Lois are happy to arrange transfers to and from Malta airport, car or jeep hire and a wide range of outdoor activities.
The landscape of Gozo is ideal for walking, from gentle rambling to more ambitious archeological hikes. Your hosts will happily provide packed lunches for these activities.
In addition to the advertised breakfasts, Lois has a daily ‘specials’ board which offers delicious choices to start your day.
We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to the farm house and the island of ‘Calypso’ so why not make Gozo your next relaxing Mediterranean break, by taking advantage of the low cost airlines that fly from many European destinations.
